Solving a Magnetic Raman Scattering Problem

In recent work in the Physical review, Dr. Mikhail Prosnikov was investigating Magnetic Raman scattering. In order to calculate some of these delicate measurements in the experiments, he required stable, weakly-divergent and narrow line lasers. The torus 532 laser from Laser Quantum was the perfect tool to use in order to acquire accurate data and furthered his research.

The papers look at the lattice and spin dynamics in low-symmetry antiferromagnet NiWO4, and also the magnetic dynamics and spin-phonon coupling in the antiferromagnet Ni2NbBO6.
