Glass wedge pairs

The dispersion characteristics of the DCM mirrors are specially designed to work together with specific glass materials, (DCM7:Calcium Floride / DCM9 & DCM10: Fused silica) and such pairs can be used to fine tune the dispersion and compression of pulses for the desired application.

Calcium Fluoride (CaF2)

Dimensions:

  • Center thickness: 1.4 mm
  • Wedge dimensions: 35 (W) x 20 (H) mm
  • Wedge angle: 4°
  • Surface < lambda/6

Fused Silica

Dimensions:

  • Center thickness: 1.4 mm
  • Wedge dimensions: 35(W) x 20(H) mm, surface < lambda
  • Wedge dimensions: 35(W) x 20(H) mm, surface < lambda/10
  • Center thickness: 2.0 mm
  • Wedge dimensions: 50(W) x 25(H) mm, surface < lambda/4
  • Wedge angle: 4°

S-D < 60/40, surface < lambda
