The largest Laser World of Photonics exhibition yet!

The Laser World of Photonics conference and exhibition in Munich had its largest number of exhibitors (1227) and visitors (more than 30,000) ever to pass through the Messe München doors. With such large numbers visiting, the exhibition was lively, busy and had a buzzing atmosphere. Laser Quantum attracted lots of interest throughout the four days of the exhibition. Our booth was bright and colourful with its iconic Q’s displaying its continuous wave laser ranges. Our continuous wave lasers are renowned for their robustness, compact size and reliability. Some of those on display included the gem 561 offering up to 500mW of yellow light, the finesse pure CEP with noise levels below 0.02% and the torus 532, a high-specification, green single frequency laser which continually tracks its longitudinal mode position to ensure there is no mode-hop. In addition to the products on the 2 metre high Q’s, we showcased our new ultrafast laser products. Here, Laser Quantum highlighted how it is at the cutting-edge of technology with the venteon ultra which is designed and optimised to offer the shortest available pulse durations, sub 5.5fs; the taccor x10, a turn-key femtosecond laser with a 10GHz repetition rate, delivering more than 1W of average power in pulses as short as 50fs; and the HASSP-THz, a time-domain THz transmission spectrometer with 1GHz spectral resolution. Everyone who attended from Laser Quantum enjoyed the exhibition and we wish to thank all of you who visited us in Munich. If you weren’t able see us at the exhibition, please do not hesitate to contact us for any information regarding our products.
