Laser Quantum’s charity football match raises over £2300
The first annual charity football match proved to be a success for Laser Quantum. Both teams were geared up for the game and there were some excellent goals scored in the high-scoring game. It finished 4-4 with both teams having missed chances to score the winner. Afterwards the spectators and players satisfied their appetite with a BBQ, followed by a pub quiz and raffle, which rallied up lots of donations and the total raised was over £2300, split between two charities; Crohn’s & Colitis and The Christie Charity. Now the first one has happened without any injuries, both teams will be back to claim the title next year and planning is already underway! Thank you to everyone who supported and helped in raising such an amazing amount.
